Our community promise

Whether you are registering for your first FNM, hosting a shop event, or checking in with your QR ID, you are part of the Philippine MTG community. We expect everyone to act with respect, honesty, and good sportsmanship — at the table and on the platform.

Be respectful

  • Treat players, guests, shop staff, and organizers with courtesy.
  • No harassment, hate speech, bullying, or targeted abuse of any kind.
  • Disagreements happen — keep debates constructive and leave personal attacks out of it.
  • Help new players feel welcome. Remember when someone taught you how to play.

Play fair

  • Follow event rules, format restrictions, and organizer instructions.
  • Cheating, collusion, slow play abuse, and intentional rule manipulation are not tolerated.
  • Use legal, authentic cards unless the event explicitly allows otherwise.
  • If a dispute arises, call a judge or organizer. Accept their ruling with grace.

Events & registration

  • Register honestly — only sign up if you plan to attend or genuinely want to follow an event.
  • Cancel your registration if you can no longer make it, when cancellation is still allowed.
  • Arrive on time and check in with your MTG Philippines QR ID when requested.
  • Do not misuse player, guest, or interested slots to hold spots for others unfairly.

Partner shops & organizers

  • List events accurately — dates, capacity, format, fees, and venue details should stay up to date.
  • Run events safely and provide a welcoming space for all participants.
  • Handle prizes, payments, and refunds transparently and in line with what was advertised.
  • Report attendance and check-ins honestly through the platform.

Profiles & platform use

  • Keep your account information accurate and do not impersonate others.
  • Do not share your QR ID publicly or let others check in on your behalf.
  • Profile photos, banners, and bios should be appropriate for a public community space.
  • Do not scrape, spam, or attempt to disrupt the platform or its users.

Safety & property

  • Watch your belongings and respect other players' cards and property.
  • Theft, damage, and aggressive behavior at events may result in removal and account action.
  • If you feel unsafe at an event, notify the organizer or shop staff immediately.

Enforcement

MTG Philippines may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts that break these guidelines or harm the community. Partner shops may also deny entry to events they host.

Serious misconduct — including harassment, cheating, fraud, or threats — may lead to permanent removal from the platform.

Questions & updates

These guidelines may be updated as the community grows. Continued use of MTG Philippines means you agree to the latest version.
